Upgrade of F Series shaft mounted gearboxes

Bonfiglioli's F Series shaft mounted gearboxes have had a number of components modified
to improve efficiency and competitiveness. The main engineering changes introduced in the
recently issued F Series catalogue can be summarised as follows:
Size F25 - A completely new gearbox, added to the existing series and covering
the previously uncatered for 400 Nm class.
Substantial redesign of gearbox sizes F30, F40 and F50 resulting in higher torque
ratings as follows:
F30 (550 Nm) --> F31 (600 Nm)
F40 (950 Nm) --> F41 (1100 Nm)
F50 (1600 Nm) F--> 51 (1800 Nm)

Shaft coupling using the “Quick-Fit” adapter bushing system - To ensure maximum versatility of application,
Bonfiglioli has developed a coupling system based on sets of bushings of different bore that will match driven shafts of
corresponding diameter. Torque transmission is ensured by the action of the friction shrink disc that completes the QF
coupling system.
The QF system will also allow F units to match the inch size driven shafts that are typically found on the North American market.
Transmission ratios - New transmission ratios have been added to the size range between F10 and F50 to improve ratio density. The upgraded ratio density, improved from a minimum of 12% to a maximum of 40%, will provide a greater selection of output shaft speeds to system designers.
Servomotor provision - Servomotor provision has been extended to sizes F10...F60 in variants SC_ (with shrink disc) and SK_ (with keyway). |
