Bonfiglioli products are covered by the Bonfiglioli basic warranty for 5 years from the date of purchase.
Bonfiglioli undertakes to repair or replace all faulty components for the duration of the Basic Warranty.
The Basic Warranty covers all costs that Bonfiglioli incurs for time and materials needed to restore correct system functioning.
The Basic Warranty excludes all other costs, such as costs for shipment of materials, travel and lodging costs for the Bonfiglioli technical assistance personnel performing on-site repairs and costs for the customer’s own personnel.
Exclusions from the warranty
The Bonfiglioli Basic Warranty does not apply to products affected by defects caused by:
• negligence or improper use;
• acts of God; (such as, by way of example but not only: acts of vandalism, lighting strikes, flooding, overvoltage, storms, fires) and factors external to the system;
• damage caused by transport and installation by parties other than Bonfiglioli;
• interventions, attempted repairs and modifications performed autonomously by the customer;
• functioning outside specified ambient conditions, with specific reference to inadequate ventilation;
• failure to conform to the relevant legal standards;
• incorrect design and inadequate electrical connections;
• functioning with defective protection devices;
• uses other than that for which the warranty is issued.
Bonfiglioli shall not be held liable for any other claims or damages, direct or indirect, with specific reference to compensation for losses.
This does not affect legal responsibilities for serious negligence and malicious actions, nor for physical damage, injury or death.
The warranty explicitly excludes all forms of compensation for loss of profit.
Extended warranties
The basic Bonfiglioli warranty can be extended for up to 20 years by one of three solutions especially designed to suit all requirements.
Silver Extended Warranty
Bonfiglioli undertakes to repair or replace all faulty components for the duration of the Silver Extended Warranty. The Silver Extended Warranty covers all costs that Bonfiglioli incurs for time and materials needed to restore correct system functioning. The silver Extended Warranty excludes all other costs, such as costs for shipment of materials, travel and lodging costs for the Bonfiglioli technical assistance personnel performing on-site repairs and costs for the customer’s own personnel. The Silver Extended Warranty can be integrated with ordinary annual maintenance contracts.
Gold Extended Warranty
Bonfiglioli undertakes to repair or replace all faulty components for the duration of the Gold Extended Warranty. The Gold Extended Warranty covers all costs that Bonfiglioli incurs for time and materials needed to restore correct system functioning. The Gold Extended Warranty also covers all costs incurred for on-site repairs. The Gold Extended Warranty can be integrated with ordinary annual maintenance contracts.
Platinum Extended Warranty
Bonfiglioli undertakes to repair or replace all faulty components directly on site for the duration of the Platinum Extended Warranty. The Platinum Extended Warranty covers all costs that Bonfiglioli incurs for time and materials needed to restore correct system functioning. The Platinum Extended Warranty also includes the annual maintenance contract. The Platinum Extended Warranty guarantees annual system availability up to 97%.
How to activate an extended warranty
The terms of all Bonfiglioli warranties apply exclusively to Bonfiglioli products. Extended warranties can be activated at any time between the start of the basic product warranty and one month from its expiry.
